It’s not always easy to remain in a state of positivity – with everything that is happening all around us – sometimes it is easier to slip into a negative mindset and just stay there. But, being negative is not good for your overall health. I spent a lot of time working on myself and learning tips for mindset and how to focus when I was living in the Ashram, but sometimes maintaining a positive outlook can prove to be difficult, especially if you are surrounded by negativity. I am sharing with you 4 of my easiest tips to bring the light into your world, and maintain a positive and happy relationship between your body and soul.

1. Focus on your happiness. Ensuring you are happy and thriving isnt greedy. It is necessary. You are the only version of yourself, and if youre feeling down or sad, worrying about the well-being of others before yourself will only bring you down. Self-care is one of the most important things you can do to practice positivity and increase your level of happiness.

2. React positively! When a hurdle comes your way, changing your reaction to one full of positivity will change your outlook on life and overall level of happiness. Practicing a positive reaction to road bumps in life, big or small, will provide long-lasting results that will radiate onto others. When you feel the negative response coming, stop, think and turn it around. There is positive to be found in every situation.

3. Practice positive self-talk. Positive self-talk uplifts you and increases your self-confidence. For example, a positive self-talk statement could be I am smart, dedicated and hard-working, or I am confident. Both of these statements bring strength to your daily life, and writing them down can be a constant reminder that despite any hardships you may face, you are capable of handling it. These positive self-talk statements can be as specific or broad as youd like! I love to write them out and post them in places all around my home to read – so when I need a pick me up – I have little love notes all over.

4. Journal nightly about the all the positive things that you experienced during the day. Oftentimes, its easy to overlook the positives, big or small that we experienced throughout the day. Jotting them down will bring them to the forefront of your memory, creating a lasting positive thought before you head to bed. Ending the night with a short journal where you can be positive and happy will help you rest better and leave you ready for the next day.

Practicing positivity in your daily life gets easier and more natural as you do it more often. Take care of your body and soul and your positivity will radiate onto others!

As I like to say – spread joy and radiate love and positivity into the world wherever you go. This is just one of the secrets of living a life well-lived, I will be sharing more with you in my upcoming masterclass. You will find my 100 words exercise and parts of my Mindset Magic course.
